Work-Life Balance

Work-Life Balance is something that affects most of us to some extent - and it can be a real problem for many people.

Getting the balance right between work and the other things in life, whether it is caring for children or elderly relatives, studying, working in the community or even just a chance to meet up with friends, can be difficult to achieve.  Getting it wrong can lead to stress and unease, and finding that equilibrium is crucial to our wellbeing.

There are solutions.  Work-Life balance isn’t only about families and childcare.  Nor is it about working less.  It’s about working ‘smarter’.   About being fresh enough to give all you need to both work and home, without jeopardising one for the other.  And it’s a necessity for everyone, at whatever stage you are in your life.

One Approach

There is a saying, “Give a man a fish and you give him food for one meal.  Show a man how to fish and you give him food for a lifetime!”

This is the approach we take in supporting individuals to go for Work-Life Re-balance.  We believe in first, helping individuals to create a vision for how they want their life to be.  Whether you choose to work in small groups, in a workshop setting, or on a one-to-one basis, with a Coach or Mentor, together, we explore a number of tools and techniques to help you to develop a picture that fits for you.

We work with you to look objectively at where you are now; what you actually do with your time; discover options for doing things differently; and develop strategies for re-balancing your life.  The most important step in the process is that we are beside you all the time, supporting you to live life the way you want to!
